For the first volume of the newsletter, we delve into ‘Returning to our Bodies’. The curator explores what returning to our bodies can mean and look like, and how this can be facilitated.
Keep up with updates and highlights of our work over the last month!

We completed a qualitative impact evaluation of the Women Win FREE Fund to explore how successful it has been in engaging in a participatory grantmaking process.
The first season of the Indian Organising Podcast, which was launched in collaboration with Haiyya, concluded in July. The podcast captures the work of people-led movements, organisers, their strategies, and their challenges. You can listen to all episodes here!
The data collection phase of the Fatness in Urban India research study was also completed as we now move to collating the insights gathered into information dissemination tools. Read the blogs developed as part of this study here.
We hosted an Instagram Live discussion with Civis to understand the potential implications of the Uniform Civil Code on the Indian youth. Head on over to our Instagram to watch it!

Curator Speaks
In the first edition of One Future Post, the curator explores the role of Somatic practices in Trauma-healing for queer women. The curator shares her own experiences as a queer woman, of her healing journey through somatic practices. This is documented as a letter from her body that is accompanied by a poem.
Rishita, the curator for this volume, is an educator, poet, and tree-worshipper. She writes to document, explore, and survive. She lives to keep expanding her list of little, mundane joys like — the Tyndall effect through canopies; fresh, crisp, sun-dried laundry falling on the bed; watching people hold hands on the metro.
