In the second volume of One Future Post, the curator explores loneliness and their own evolving relationship with it. They highlight the significance of bonding and community for sustaining, thriving.
Keep up with updates and highlights of our work since the last volume of One Future Post! All eyes here please!
Conversations on Community Organising: Haiyya and OFC Folks are jointly hosting an exciting event in the evening on 19 August in Delhi! We will be listening to snippets of the Indian Organising Podcast and discussing campaigning strategies, all while making our own zines! We will be joined by various community organisers and the guests featuring in the podcast. Convincing enough? Register for the event now!
One Future Festival 2023: Our flagship One Future Festival’s 2023-2024 edition has also officially launched! We have started our first partnership with Jai Hind College this month already. This year, the One Future Festival is going to partner with 100 institutions across India, as a way to equip individuals with tools to lead conversations and ignite change within their communities. Keep an eye out for updates and ways to engage with the festival on our social media.
OpenNyAI residency by Agami and TinkerHub: We attended the OpenNyAI Maker Residency, focused on the intersections of law, justice and AI-based solutions. We were glad to have this opportunity to interact with professionals from other fields and engage in meaningful conversations around AI, ethics in AI and its limitations. We look forward to taking these conversations ahead and exploring how we can leverage AI to further our work on social justice.
Update on the Sanskaari Girls Book Club: The Sanskaari Girls Book Club, which was started by our CEO, Vandita Morarka, as a free space for people to meet, read and learn together, will no longer be housed within OFC but will function independently through a volunteer network. Fret not, since you can still receive updates about it by subscribing to this mailing list.
Newer resources by OFC are also launching super soon! Follow our social media for regular updates. Excited?

Curator Speaks
CW: Mention of the COVID-19 pandemic
Conversations about loneliness have become more commonplace since the COVID-19 pandemic. Through this piece, the curator depicts what embodied loneliness feels like, what exacerbates it and what the antidote to it is/can be.
The observant Shreyasi has curated this volume of One Future Post. Shreyasi Tripathi (she/her) is a lawyer and poet based in Delhi. When she is not working or reading, she is conspiring to make even more stray cats follow her home and trying to convince her friends to upskill so they can all buy a piece of land and live off-grid together. Her work has previously appeared in Vayavya and Pashyanti Magazine. You can reach out to her via Instagram @poetreeees.

DIY activity: Sip and Paint
Invite 2-5 friends to your house, a park, or a restaurant for a ‘sip and paint’ day. Fill up your favorite drinks, grab some art supplies, and bond over making art. Remember, it is not about being good or perfect, it is about being present.
